The Metrontario Group owns a key property located adjacent to the world-renowned Texas Medical Center district in Houston, Texas. Construction has begun on the Life Science Plaza, a medical office building, containing over 315,000 square feet (29,300 square meters). The building includes an 850-car parking garage.

Current tenants include Select Specialty Hospital, which will operate a 65,000 square foot (6,000 square meters) acute care hospital, and L.A. Fitness, which will occupy 55,000 square feet (5,100 square meters) of space, containing a state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Initial occupancy is expected in the spring of 2008.
